Watched the match on youtube earlier (as with the Hendricks Vs Fitch fight). Lesnar kinda looked out of place with Overeem using those vicious Knees to the body :o. Lesnar didn't look like himself in the octagon against Overeem :-\.

I wouldn't go as far to say Lesnar is one of the greatest Heavyweights of all time. Shame he entered the sport late. If he had entered some time before then, he may have been a Beast at HW as he could fix up his striking and other parts in his arsenal. Not to say he wasn't a good/great HW, just probably not in that top tier to be considered out of all time.

Overeem is a great stand up fighter but his opponents as J said were never top class besides a few. However, he did compete in other organisations as well (e.g K1). Against JDS will be a very good fight. Both are strikers, JDS with his hands and Overeem with his legs potentially.

Maca, Lesnar is one of my favourite fighters, but to be fair a fighting record of 5-3 (4-3 in the UFC) doesn't sound like the greatest ever heavyweight to me ;)

I didnt say ever. I said one of the best UFC heavyweights ever.
His record was deflated due to getting a hard fight every time. Better than a 20-1 record against chumps.
If he didnt suffer from his illness and came to the sport earlier... he would have been god

will be rare to see a UFC fighter with a 20-1 record against chumps, it just won't happen ... the day that happens will be the day UFC turns into ... boxing!  ;)    :'(

definitely not a great and agree with BP's points, i think Dana saw a potential promotional cash cow, Lesnar talks alot of shower and it sells PPV he had done it before so it was always going to be a great business decision with his WWE fan base and his "heel traits" that the mma world would dislike... i was a huge Brock fan in WWE when i was younger so i was always hoping he would do well and i dont think he could have achieved much more tbh.

agree with J also when he gets tagged he turtles up and back peddles, he is open for uppercuts... the point im making about being a "natural striker" is he isnt instinctive and u cant teach that... its all good and well to be taught this and that in the gym and feel like uve got it down in sparring but when its a real fight do u trust it? do u feel it? i dont think he did for whatever reason he cant manufacture shots nor telegraph them.

Watched UFC Countdown for Aldo Vs Mendes. Aldo looks beastly with those kicks :o. But Mendes' plan is probably just to take him down and control him from there.

Belfort Vs Johnson could be a good one 8).
