TUF 11 and 12 are my favourites so got them on the Comp 8). I liked Brookins as well, seemed more down to earth than the others :P. Cody McKenzie was my favourite though. Average fighter with a Killer Finish :o.

So no comments by anyone on 137? Given that BJ Penn retired last night after his loss to Nick Diaz, I'm very surprised no one has said anything. And Cro Cop retired as well after his loss to 'Big Country' Roy Nelson.

Diaz did look rather decent but I think GSP should get over him rather comfortably. BJ just didn't seem his usual self and tried to take it to Diaz with stand up and thats how/why he got smashed.

Yeh I thought it was a bit bizarre when I read stand up war.
So he is retiring? Has had a great career and been around the block for a while.

Sounds like BJ lost a bit of the 'hunger' that I thought he might get back with such a dangerous opponent as Diaz - usually gets him up for it, usually a fierce competitor. I saw quotes that he indicated that he didn't want to hang around if he couldn't compete at the highest level.

Mirko 'Cro Cop' Filipovic should've retired a number of fights ago - he was never the same after that Gonzaga fight which I think was a bit of a 'fluke' (Gonzaga's head kick) - just stopped him pulling the trigger on that awesome high leg kick which was his most dangerous weapon. Think the Pat Barry fight prolonged things for a bit in his mind ...

now, how do I get to watch UFC on Fox (Velasquez vs Dos Santos) in Australia??!?
I cannot find the pay-per-view info which makes me wonder if it will be in pubs and I haven't seen anything about it being broadcast free-to-air in Australia yet ...

I hope the same although doubt they'd show it :'(. If not, can always stream it :-X.

I never watch PPV's but read through some of the play by plays after. Sounds like Diaz dominated and is next in line for GSP. Shame about Cro Cop and BJ, both have been influential in UFC. But everybody's time must come at some point.

Download it I suppose. it is what I do with all main events, just download them and watch them the next day so I deliberately stay out of this thread until I have watched it then comment. :P
