of who is left i guess Rashard has the best chance bcos he seems to have got under Bones skin, if he decides to fight the way he did tonight tho nobody is going to touch him his physical advantage is just phenomenal...

Takinori Gomi was a Pride champion for ages but the fact that Nate Diaz had that significant reach advantage made it all but impossible for him to utilize his best attributes, these guys with massive reach and strong ground games can nullify the explosive strikers by exchanging from a distance and then clinching/takedowns when they come forward...

The great strikers need to become more well rounded, but even still they r at a major disadvantage...

It's the height and reach that gets to most fighters. I agree with you there Marcz. Although if they have the skill, could find a strategy to overcome it although a guy like Bones has a massive reach advantage not to mention if he wears down his opponent with those kicks of his.

Strikers do have to become more all round to adapt to this changing style. Although overcoming a reach disadvantage means they have to pick apart at their opponents weaknesses which can be hard as they need the openings (Rampage has a little opening before Jones ran away).

Gomi I think has a 1-3 record in the UFC :-\.

Jon Jones should fight heavyweight, His height and Reach is huge, not to mention the fact he is so skinny he could easily bulk up to the max.
