Condit has worked his way up to this fight for a very long time, so great to see him get a chance 8)
If Diaz is that arrogant that he is ignoring Dana's phone calls, then he doesn't deserve the opportunity.
It's a privelege, not a right as they say :P

Diaz originally due to fight GSP for the UFC welterweight title, gets pulled because he went AWOL for 2 press conferences for the title fight - Condit due to fight BJ Penn at same card gets the call up to fight GSP, leaving Penn without an opponent ... Diaz without an opponent, Penn vs Diaz gathers steam in the media and apparently Dana White goes, "You want it, you got it". ;)

could be Shaggy, but the kid does have a lot of heart so i don't think it's going to be a walk in the park for GSP.

true Shags, but i rate heart higher than talent ... but i think anyone (apart from a super-fight showdown with Silva) is going to be an underdog vs GSP. ;)

I think the thing that Dana rips boxing for is starting to creep into MMA, there r some "super fights" out there that just arent happening :(
