Didn't help that the ref had to stop him 2 or 3 times to explain the rules haha!

Goes on his kickboxing record, but his MMA stays at a pristine 4-0. Turns out the guy he was fighting had had 12 or so kickboxing fights and had recently fought for the Victorian belt (or something), so was apparently quite good...

Yep, and on a winning streak in a deep LW division!

I'd assume he'll be next in line for the Bendo Vs Pettis winner due to his injury, and not like it made the UFC cancel an event (keeping Machida from having his shot :P ). So hopefully he'll still get one like early next year with some luck!

The Fox card from yesterday was good! Johnson proved why he is the Flyweight champion, he was the heavy favourite and dominated. Even finished late in the 5th round with an armbar!

Robbie Lawler and Melvin Guillard had great KOs, probably lifting their profiles again! Ellenberger was completely shut down by Rory's jab, he never really did much besides a takedown in the 3rd, when it was too late ::). Although, Rory has said he won't fight GSP for the title... So not sure where that leaves the Welterweights if GSP beats Hendricks.

Fight of the night was Ed Herman Vs Trevor Smith, was a stand and bang fight, with both guys getting rocked a few times. Halfway through, could tell it would be one of the best fights of the night, can try to catch it if you guys can!

I never watched the Brazillian TUF but heard Mutante was a beast :o.

Aldo broke his foot in the first round, so played it a bit safer and when Jung got injured, pounced for the win. Some calling it cheap, but he's smart considering he was fighting without his leg kicks.

On the televised Prelims, I enjoyed all the 4 matches they showed :D. McCall finally got a win against a lower skilled opponent and Australian Anthony Perosh got a 14 second KO over Vinny Magalhaes (Perosh is 40 as well and still going :o :o ).

Yeah I know it was good as with perosh. didn't see it though, were they on free to air?

Prelims are free-to-air but on Fuel TV. Now sure of OneHD shows them though. But the card from McCall's match to Perosh's I watched (and they showed some of the FB prelims when the matches finished quickly).

Vitor Vs Hendo in the works? :o :o. I'd expect Vitor to smash him though :-X.

I never know where to go to watch Bellator :(. Askren keeps winning with his wrestling and Chandler has smashed his competition lately from what I read.

A bit of late notice, but my bro has got an MMA fight lined up for the weekend, up in Alice Springs. Probably going to be his toughest fight to date, as he is up against a champion kickboxer, and another guy who will be trying out for TUF in September. The fight is the main event too!

Sounds like a tough match! Also another first round finisher, so hopefully Rob can stay out of trouble early :-X.

If anybody has Fox Sports or Fuel TV, got a free event coming up on Sunday. Shogun Vs Sonnen headlining, but card is stacked so plenty of potentially great matches :D.

Won by unanimous decision, so still undefeated! 5-0! ;D

Will get details about the fight later, but great to see him win it, especially against someone who will also be trying out for TUF in September :)
