I've seen an interview where he is talking about how much he hates training. He says something like how it's not fair that Quinton has to do all the training and how Quinton has to work hard, but then Rampage gets to fight and takes all the glory. It's pretty funny :)
yeah definitely one of the funniest dudes ;D did u see TUF 10 or 11 he was a coach, gold every episode 8)
yeh love that season  8)
I love the guy, him and rashards fights were hilarious.
I recommend season 13. Has been pretty good from what ive watched.
havent missed a season yet ;) that was one of my faves tho...

season 4 was wild aswell with all actual fighters trying to kickstart their careers again, Serra, Carter, Lytle, Lutter, Sell etc

fair chance Tito and Rashard will go the distance imo...

Tito doesnt hunt anymore Rashard never has nor will just counter strike and move lots, Tito's ground game is no longer elite so even if he gets Sugar down i dont see him doing much damage, expect Rashard to win on points via his counter punching and stuffing takedowns yawn...

I expect it to be the worst fight the UFC has ever had and this is from someone who lived through the Shamrock-Severn "Super"Fight
we watched UFC 1-10 in one weekend in the 90's :o some of those fights were painful to watch...
they didnt stand the fighters back up and the refs never forced them into pushing the pace ::)
i think it was 1 of the Shamrock Vs Gracie matches spent 30 minutes ground cuddling... massive yawn :-X

Justin Bieber

Yeah, the rounds were much longer so more slow than todays matches. The fighter's worked alot on being able to last the distance back then so had to pace themselves. I need to watch a couple of the past events as I don't watch them :'(.

Fuel TV (foxtel) is replaying Seasons 1-9 all over again in the same time slot ;D. Missed season 1 so finally get to watch it :P.

I think it was TUF 7 or 8 with Rampage Vs Mir? The more recent one was him and Forrest I think. Or may have them mixed up :-[.

TUF 7 was rampage vs Forrest and TUF 9 was against Rashad.

I mixed up Noguira with Rampage ::). Still season 7 and 8 had both of them just in the wrong order/wrong captain ;D.

UFC 93 - Franklin v Henderson on OneHD this Fri, my listing has it pretty late at 11.55pm!
From Jan 2009.

Main card
Welterweight bout:  Marcus Davis vs.  Chris Lytle
Middleweight bout:  Alan Belcher vs.  Denis Kang
Middleweight bout:  Jeremy Horn vs.  Rousimar Palhares
Light Heavyweight bout:  Mark Coleman vs.  Mauricio Rua
Light Heavyweight bout:  Rich Franklin vs.  Dan Henderson

Davis and Lytle normally put on a good show - might just be a bit late for me at pumpkin time ...

Justin Bieber

I like Davis as a fighter so should be a good bout. Franklin Vs Henderson will also be good but nothing else interests me :-\.

Maca24

UFC 134 looking like a good card.
Silva vs Okami (last guy to beat silva?), Schaub vs Big Nog and Forrest vs Shogun!
Nice  8)

Oh yea I see...
BTW what do we think of Tito replacing Davis?  ???
I would of preferred a Machida vs Evans fight by a long way.
wtf?!?!

ah, shower! I was really looking forward to Evans v Davis too!

Apparently Machida's camp wanted more money than Dana was willing to pay so Tito after initially declining has come in ... that doesn't make a lot of sense - wonder how much Tito is getting paid compared to what Machida's people wanted??  :-\

UFC 133 - Evans v Ortiz - Sun 7 August 2011 from around abouts 9am AEST
Main card - as at 18 July 2011 (from wikipedia)

Light Heavyweight bout:  Rashad Evans vs.  Tito Ortiz
Middleweight bout:  Vitor Belfort vs.  Yoshihiro Akiyama
Welterweight bout:  Dennis Hallman vs.  Brian Ebersole
Middleweight bout:  Jorge Rivera vs.  Alessio Sakara
Welterweight bout:  Rory MacDonald vs.  Mike Pyle

not sure i'm as excited as I was before ... Lil' Nog pulled out so Rich Franklin's not fighting either!  :'(

Rory MacDonald is a young upcoming kid, and Belfort Akiyama should be alright ...  :-\
UFC heads up - haven't checked any updates on the UFC 133 main card but assume it's the same or similar still - this Sunday.
I've got 'daddy duty' so i''ll be giving it a miss.

UFC on OneHD next few days ...

Thurs 4 Aug - The Ultimate Fighter season 11 Middleweights - Chuck Liddell & Tito Ortiz

Sat 6 Aug - UFC Countdown 133 at 12.15am-1.14am ... wtf?!?! i don't have a video recorder and i'm not staying up that late after Saints v Freo to watch ...

Sat 6 Aug - UFC 128 Shogun v Jones from earlier this year - at least this is on at a reasonable hour ~ 9.30pm.

Sun 7 Aug - UFC 133 Prelims - at least I'll get to watch this while looking after my little one

Justin Bieber

I have to reset my TV to watch them again :P.

Thanks for the Heads up J. In the middle of watching Season 10 (Heavyweights) and Season 3 for that matter but may tune in for the next one as well!

Shogun and Jones, missed that so why not since it's a Saturday night.

Maca24

Rashad vs Tito is on tomorrow. Belfort and Akiyama fighting aswell.
Will the winner of Rashad fight get the next title shot?

so Rashard came out on top (think vicious knee to the body in the 2nd) - Rashard should get a crack at the Jones v Rampage winner - doubt Tito would've got the shot if he had beaten Evans but who knows.

Belfort took out Akiyama (he might be on his way out, lost 3 in a row) and the MacDonald kid won, touted to be a possible future welterweigth champ.

missed it, only saw sherdog.com report.

Up next (there is also a UFC Live: Hardy vs Lytle on 14 Aug 2011 but not sure where to see that), UFC 134 isn't looking too bad.

UFC 134 Silva vs Okami for the UFC middleweight title - 27 Aug 2011 in Rio de Janerio - not sure when our telecast will be.

Middleweight Championship:  Anderson Silva (c) vs.  Yushin Okami
Light Heavyweight bout:  Maurício Rua vs.  Forrest Griffin
Heavyweight bout:  Antônio Rodrigo Nogueira vs.  Brendan Schaub
Lightweight bout:  Edson Barboza vs.  Ross Pearson
Light Heavyweight bout:  Luiz Cane vs.  Stanislav Nedkov

Top 3 on the main card are looking solid!  8)

Justin Bieber

It was meant to be Evans vs Jones at UFC 133 but Jones got injured so Rashad should have been next in line whether he won or not :P.

Indeed that card looks good 8). I especially like Rua Vs Griffin! Should be a great match.

RiOtChEsS

yep agreed Griffin Rua will be fight of the night 8)

surprised Sugar finished, surely it was when Tito was trying to grapple him against the cage and Rashard was running away :P
