QuoteAs for today's card, won't post spoilers, but wow that LW title match ending! The heart shown and the chin :o :o :o. Not to mention the HW result on there, can see why they did it, but he barely did anything besides little bursts to really pull through.

Just finished watching today's card, wow, the first 2 fights were sick, that HW was...interesting to say the least...and LW was an absolute cracker!  Followed it up with the semi's of TUF, both matches were very good.  Finals tomorrow with Joanna vs Claudia which has fireworks written all over it!  I remember watching the first fight and being in just as much shock as Claudia when the decision was given to Joanna!  These girls hate each other, Joanna learned Portuguese just so she could call Claudia "a little whore".  :o  flowerin' europeans are scary!

Hahaha, yeah they have a great rivalry since that split decision! It's a big shame I have to miss it but going to record it and the UFC 200 prelims as leaving tomorrow morning for the weekend. Hopefully they put on a great match so I can come back and watch.

You guys (and maybe girls) enjoy the weekend ahead of matches 8).

Crazy replacement! But probably better than almost any actual LHW they would find on short notice so kudos to Anderson for stepping up :D. DC should probably still win it with his strength advantage :P.

All good RD, it's a shame that some names pull out but should still be a great card! Now the card is apparently headlined by Tate vs Nunes, which could be a decent match, not sure if UFC 200 headline worthy :P. Lesnar vs Hunt has everybody curious, and DC vs Silva will be another just because it's a freakshow-esqe style fight. A Former HW takes on a MW moving up so may be one sided, or it could be competitive if Anderson can find form of his past years. Aldo Vs Edgar should be a nice fight (but probably more technical than brutal), but Velasquez vs Browne can fill in for the power punching and whatnot the above may lack! Undercard is pretty good as well with 2 former champs and a few barnburners depending when the PPV starts for the prelims. Still a great card especially if splitting it with friends for a nice afternoon. Just hope the card lives up to it!

The title match looked like being a 5 round war. Then the heavy punch missed the block and it was all over. Great heart to try and push through though. It's good to see 2 fighters who value the title so highly

massive build up on paper looked like a ripper card

turned out to be pretty average

mark hunt :(

Aldo vs Edgar was fight of the night IMO, tried to find a bet for it before the card, but no luck. :(

Cain looked good.

Nunes looked damn good, don't see Rousey heading back to the octagon any time soon, this chick is going to beat all challengers for now.

flower I really hate Cormier, way more boring than GSP, if he thought this was going to beat Jon Jones, he's absolutely dreaming.  Pisses me off how he get's all high and mighty with people being fake, cheating etc and then the whole time he's basically got his hand over Silva's mouth and nose stopping him from breathing.  Silva was the real winner of this fight, no training since his operation 2 months ago and puts on a show, glad everyone boo'd the flower out of DC.

Lesner...still a beast, he is one scary individual, he looks like a mythical creature out there against Hunt.  Was a lot more cautious than in his hey day, but when he went for those takedown's, man it looked good.  Interesting to see if it put the hunger in him again, or made him realise he doesn't want anything more to do with the sport.

Great weekend of fights.  :D

Hellopplz

The McDonald Vs Lineker card today had some nice fights! Pretty exciting stuff.

Caught the prelims and the middle two involving Casey Vs Stanciu and Alvey Vs Spicely were pretty good for the time they lasted :P. As for the main card, besides the HW fight it was pretty action packed!!

Smolka Vs Nguyen featured alot of heart from Nguyen until finally his corner threw in the towel, he just wouldn't quit himself and got out of a pretty deep rear-naked choke just before it ended. Noke Vs Keita was pretty great stand up battle and Samman Vs Boetsch was alright itself.

The co-main between Ferguson Vs Vannata was up there for round of the year, that first round was :o :o :o. I recommend going out of your way to watch it. The second Ferguson showed a cooler head and didn't get cocky as Vannata dropped his hands some more and paid for it. But that first round, it would make you gasp so many times, especially at one stage where Tony had to fight out of his wobbly legs 2-3 times but kept falling back to the ground.

Lineker showed his power really well against McDonald, and quite accurately as well. McDonald came back well a few times but Lineker seems alot more comfortable here at 135 than 125 without him being drained as much from the weight cut.
