So apparently McGregor has come out and tweeted that he's retiring young.  Dana has pulled him from the UFC 200 card as he failed to meet media obligations.  Something more to this here, or it's another publicity stunt.  He was also at a match where one the guys died so this could've prompted the retirement.  If he has retired, he goes out losing to Diaz and looking like an even bigger douche than ever.  No legacy for this guy, he doesn't deserve it.
It's one of two things and both are b!tch moves

1. More money and leverage in regards to the way they handle him

2. He is actually retiring and if it was this easy to make it happen it was very close to happening soon anyway

He is actually a person and doesn't really give a shower about the sport if this is true (if he's doing it to bring more money in and fans then ok).  Hasn'e defended his title, and beaten by Nate is his "last" ever fight.  ::)  Can't wait for all the excuses the McGregor nuthuggers come up with.

"He saw his friend die in the ring recently, give him a break" (guy died 2 days later, not in the ring)
"Dana wasnt paying him enough money for ufc200, even Nate is retiring because they are so cheap" (Nate was joking ::) )
"Why should he have to do the press conference he is the best fighter they have" ;D

Haha yep true, if he comes back it will be because the UFC have caved on terms, would not put it passed them...

Apparently his tweet came out after Dana dropped him from UFC 200 so maybe he was trying to save face?

Saw a pretty funny meme this morning, had Connor running down the WWE ramp with a suitcase saying money in the bank, lol!  Imagine that actually happened!  :o

The wheels are falling off with this guy

Now he's talking about fighting and forgetting all this promo stuff, wtf is wrong with this guy, he was the one who was all about the promotion and getting his "cheese". I hope Diaz gets another chance to choke this fraud out.

he is struggling, he isnt in a good head space, just look at the timeline of actions...

I dont want to do the promo because its more important to train for the fight
Dana: ok you are no longer in the fight
Im retired
Im not retired

He is flip flopping from one extreme to the other, there is no balance in his words or actions

So the beef is all over not being paid for press conferences, what a crock of shower, this guy is the undisputed king of getting paid from press conferences with all his shower talk and antics, take the press conferences away and his "cheese" stack is way back with the rest of the pack.

The horseshower statement about all his media responsibilities costing him the defeat are delusions, he paid Diaz no respect and tried to blow him out the water, if he kicked the leg worked the body (Diaz losses) he would have been able to put him away in the 2nd or 3rd, its got nothing to do with training for 3 months prior to a fight.

The wheels are comin off the conor train...

This time Diaz gets to actually train for the fight, instead of drinking Tequila in Mexico (which is what he was doing when he got the call to fight the 1st time).

McQuitter should win the fight if he just sticks to the same way everyone beats Diaz https://youtu.be/q9EEcBkfgI8?t=9m4s
I cant believe the tripe he spewed out about the media being a distraction, he has the same issue as Ronda, they dont have somebody that is brave enough to give them the truth in their entourage.
Diaz leans back and doesnt really come forward, he is difficult to finish, you cant just blow through him like he tried to do, how does he not know that?

Meanwhile the P4P best in the world just quietly demolished another contender, 8 in a row #mightymouse

Bones looks rusty but still good enough to steamroll Cormier and reclaim the belt
