And without Berba or Hernandez after they were subbed off ;).

Is it just me, or does the extra time for the match seem to go on for too long?

MajorLazer

Some games there is a lot of extra time and some there aren't.

Frustrated with that because we were 2-0 up. If it wasn't for that I would've been happy.

CrowsFan

From my score updates united had a couple of chances to win it in injury time. Damn :(
Not happy with that at all! Losing more ground on chelsea now!!

MajorLazer

Well good game anyway CF. Thrilling finish.

*extends hand to shake*

Justin Bieber

Yeah. Being in such a good position then losing it does make the draw bitter sweet.

Saw the updates. United were pretty desperate to get the win. But was a cracking last half hour.

I finished cleaning my room, so I'm out for the night. Night ML and CF.

MajorLazer

Night HP.

I'm better be off too. Got basketball tomorrow. Cya CF.

CrowsFan

Night all.
Guess I might as well go to bed too

WatsamataU

Geez, united really got out of jail there, Villa dominated the game until the second goal, went to bed after that. Can't believe we came back

Player Ratings

Edwin van der Sar
A busy afternoon for the Dutchman who saved well from Young in the first half and had the woodwork to thank twice, before Villa went ahead. Had no chance with either goal.

Wes Brown
Was given a somewhat torrid time by Stewart Downing and will be disappointed to have given away the penalty for Villa's first goal.

Rio Ferdinand
The pace of Gabby Agbonlahor and Young made it a difficult afternoon for Rio who was unlucky to see a well-struck volley cleared off the line late on.

Nemanja Vidic
The United captain has been a colossus all season in defence, but he was a hero at the other end today with a superb diving header five minutes from time to earn a vital point.

Patrice Evra
As committed as ever, but struggled to deal with the threat of Marc Albrighton who caused havoc down Villa's right wing and was on hand to fire his side's second goal.

Nani
A mixed afternoon for the winger whose supply line wasn't always as good as it can be. Got it right when he needed to though, providing the perfect cross for Vida to head home.

Darren Fletcher
The Scot ran his socks off in midfield and did his utmost to offer support to United's front two. It was his neat lay-off which set up Macheda for the Reds' first goal.

Michael Carrick
Struggled to exert his influence against an impressive Villa midfield. Dragged a shot wide in the first half when in a good position on the edge of the area.

Ji-sung Park
United's in-form winger started brightly, but like many of his team-mates faded after the break as the home side began to dominate.

Dimitar Berbatov
The Bulgarian cut a frustrated figure at Villa Park as he struggled to get into the game. Should have done better with a first half effort which he fired wide.

Javier Hernandez
Made some good runs and was always keen to get involved when United were on the attack, but, like his strike partner, he found it difficult to make any real impact.

Substitutes
Gabriel Obertan (for Berbatov, 73)
A lively addition to United's attack. Went close to notching a winner in injury time, but saw his clipped effort saved by Friedel.

Federico Macheda (for Hernandez, 73)
Another important, late goal against Villa and what a strike it was as he blasted high into the net from the edge of the area.

Chris Smalling (for Park, 86)
The defender was thrown on up front for the final few minutes but was unable to help United snatch a winner.
