If he gets put as a DEF (which he should) he will be one of the highest scoring backman so if you have him in defence you are not sacrificing points

maanco

yer i guess, but their are better options for a little bit more $.

I know, I guess for DT he is not that good, well, yeah he is good but there are better, but in SC he is one of the top 5 or so backmen, but he is up there in DT

browny_wce

in 08 or 09 cant remember, everyone had him when he was a fwd/mid
can score quite big as he does play that floating half back role and i think he'll settle into that position with Richmonds developing midfield

Wouldn't surprise me if Deledio turned into a SC God like say Goddard.

Took Goddard a while to shine also

I'm not that hot on him for DT but he has to be a lock for SC imo.

+1 (but still a DT consideration yeah?)

MiGZ

hes a lock in both. hes such a consistant scorer, rarely drops under 80 in dt and 90 in sc. as a mid in dt hes average, not worth a look. but as a back hes a definate lock for me.

Yep. Everybody did get him when he was MPP Fwd/Mid as they just chucked him up forward and watched the scores roll in. He is always improving his game and if the midfield behind him picks up, he will do even better (hopefully).

Yes, but Goddard rarely misses the ton in SC where as has the occasional sub 90 score in DT :P

Didn't have many sub 90 scores in DT this year at all. I'm not a stats man and i'm sure someone will correct me but it could possibly be as low as 1-2 sub 90 DT games this year.

brodman_18

just checked..... it was 2 sub 90 games all year. Round 1 and round 5.

what about if brent stanton is mpp? will he be better than deledio?
