Jealous? Do you think Bomber Thompson can use his influence to quell the major power that is disrupting Essendon, that being the Windy Hill Bowling Club! Perhaps they could volunteer to fly the Pies flag for a couple of weeks after it is unveiled in round 3.

Look, basically Bomber is an over qualified assistant coach. He will have a minimal role on match day. his role as mentor will be to scrutinise each game with Hird to try to ascertain why they got thrashed by 10 goals by GC.
