;D  ;D  ;D THey have both been given their chances and never proven themselves so I for one am very happy :D Neagle is still training and is a chance for a rookie spot. Also Houli now officially delisted.

Both are useless, came back out of condition so even the attitudes are wrong. The only reason Neagle has the outside chance of a rookie spot is because they have to pay his contract out anyway. That no other clubs will be interested in a comprimised draft sums it up.

Houli is a different matter, poor trading by Essendon (like Anthony at the Pies) & most of we pundits think he could be a decent player.

Sad to see Houli go for nothing. We all knew he was leaving when Knights wouldn't play him.

No suprise in Neagle. Too one dimensional with just his marking and kicking. Can't do much else.

Atkinson I was a little suprised in. Has shown some good signs in bursts, but this shows lack of consistency. Was speedy though and suited our attacking game. However..... Defensive side was lacking when we need Half Back Flankers who can do both.

Boomz

I think Atkinsons main problem was his age... 26 next year & hasn't cemented a place in the side... Time for him to go.

Justin Bieber

I thought his main problem was being a defender who can't really play defence? That was probably the start of his delisting.

Boomz

Also heard he wasn't putting the hard yards in at training... I think it was a bit of everything...

best news ive heard all day!  :D
fantastic.

HillHero13

happy about Neagle.. Atkinson was good maybe should have been given a secnd chance..

Great list cleanout by Hird. Knights was about as ruthless as a kitten when it came to delisting.

Alex7089

Good.
Neither of them were needed or filled a spot that needed to be filled...Well at least.
Atkinson needs to be better at 25 and Neagle only really seemed to get chances because of his father -_-

I dunno Alex I think Neagle could of turned out to be pretty damn good if he wasn't so lazy and fat. Great mark and kick. Atkinson we don't really know enough about to make a judgement, but yeah he is way too old.

DazBurg

i reckon Neagle could of been a good player if he got his body fit
remember watson was on the list for 3 or 4 years before he turned into the star he is today he had to really get his body in shape
maybe this is exactly what Jay needed considering his still training with the bombers and has been told if he proves himself they will rookie him

Boomz

The thing is he has got no where near the work ethic Jobe has... Showing up at training at a club with a new coach & being out of shape is just plain stupid. I also don't think they are seriously thinking about rookie listing him except they may coz they have to pay him out anyway so may as well get their moneys worth. I'm with Alex... He only got so many chances coz of his name.

yeah i agree with you totally
i'm just saying if which is a big if he did ever get his body right he has the skills i.e marking and kicking to be a decent forward
but ur right in this day and age of AFL if u come back out of shape whether it's a new coach or not is unacceptable and should be lucky if not sacked
(not neagle since he was but if anyone else at any club did it and got a 2nd chance)

Hawka

lol i could play beta than neagle hope no1 gets him (besides bombers agin :P
