how do you workout spare ratings??

and what are they?

Spare ratings are a rough indication of when your player is going to pop.

You work them out by first adding up all the trainable skills of your player.
For each level the number goes up by 1000 eg.

atrocious=0
dreadful=1000
poor=2000
ordinary=3000
and so on.

After you have added them all up, you take that total away from the player's rating. The higher the number, the closer to a pop the player is.

so what do i add up?

the skills of the player. eg. batting, bowling, tech, power, keeping, fielding, endurance.
If they are all atrocious and the player's rating is 3,500, it would be 3,500-0=3,500.
That would be his spare rating.

Training Batting technique

what would that mean?

Add them up and then subtratc it from Preddey's rating.
