Yeah he named 9 people and then was tossing up between 4 people for the other two places.
Give me a sec and I will find it

Here we go. This is what ancelotti said:

"I can give to you nine men," Ancelotti told the gathered press, when asked about his starting line-up for Sunday's match.

"Petr Cech, Branislav Ivanovic, Alex, John Terry, Ashley Cole, John Obi Mikel, Yuri Zhirkov, Nicolas Anelka and Didier Drogba. [As well as] Florent Malouda or Salomon Kalou and Michael Essien or Ramires."

That was how I knew Bosingwa wasn't going to play so I traded him for Alex haha

Hawka

well essien mite not play for me and then and agger mite not either

CrowsFan

Yeah but you are already 24 points clear with me only having 4 players left

CrowsFan

Haha tevez is playing and hilly named him as his last substitute!
You should always name people in doubt on the field just in case they do get up for it, which is why I always name Lampard each week

Round 3 Results

Hello 40-49 Lardners Lovable Losers
HP unfortunately did not get anyone to double their score since his captain Berbatov and vice captain Milner did not play. HP required 5 subs but only had 2 that scored, including Davies's massive 16. Benjy required just the 1 sub, and his best performer was Hangeland with 11.

Q's Champions 29-31 Hilly's Heroic's
Not a good round for Q. His highest scorer was his sub Williamson with 6, required 2 subs and had players for both. Hilly got very lucky with Tevez coming off the bench for him and scoring a handy 8 points to get him over the line.

Hawka FC 49-22 The Matchbox Matadors
Highest score of the round for Hawka thanks to 18 points from captain Cahil, Ridwell also chipped in with 7. The Matadors had a horrible round. Their 2 highest scorers Reina (9) and Torres (12) were both on the bench and so did not score. Highest scoring player was Boateng with 6 and lowest scorer was Koscielny with -1.

ZZ's Zanny Zebras 22-33 Didhedive Dogba
ZZ joins The Matadors with the lowest score of the round with 22, but ZZ's was helped with the 3 points for home ground advantantage. ZZ required 3 subs, but only 2 played and they combined for 1 point. Highest scorer was Kuyt with 6, next best home ground with 3. Andrew had an alright round, requiring no substitutions and Carroll his highest scorer with 9.

All in all a very low scoring round for everyone. Hopefully round 4 will be an improvement!

EDIT - Benjy actually scored 49 points so equal highest. Elmander was credited with 2 assists instead of just the 1

I'm missing most of my starting XI and still posted a better score than half the competition 8).

I have to stay positive after my first loss of the season :D.

Master Q

Every game was an upset IMO except for Zz v Andrew.

I'm still winless, and I thought I had a good team coming into this  :(
