Post your tips for the Melbourne Cup here and I'll add a poll.

Hopefully one of us can back a winner or maybe use the poll to pick the trifecta  8)

With my wife coming from Streaky Bay way we always back in Kerin McEvoy.

So I'll begin with Campanologist.

Shocking is the favorite so is an automatic selection.

Nothing funny about the great man Bart Cummings being admitted to hospital but I did giggle a little when he was listed as 'in a stable condition' LOL  ;D

I really only choose my horses on the morning of the big day 8). Only day I bet and I usually bring it on home ;D. Pick usually 4-5 horses though but I don't spend big (combined like $5 :P).

i've had this funny gut feeling for weeks that alcopop was going to win a big race and he hasn't yet so i might stick a couple of bucks on him

Or maybe that big win i got a feeling for could be Saturdays race in the lexus stakes

i dunno just have a feeling his gonna hit hs straps and win something
