Kicks off today.

Shaq doing well and Rondo picking up where he left off.

Boston vs Cleveland.

Boston is so stacked. 3/5 hall of famers.

8-6 Suited

Didn't even see this thread yesterday. Not a great start shooting wise for Miami and Boston, poor percentages but a good finish to the game. Deserving win for the Celtics.

Looking forward to the playoffs this time around, Boston will be a contender again if not the biggest threat. :D

Cicjose

Miami was shocking shooting less than 35%

The Heats big 3 r torching the Cavs in Lebrons return to Cleveland... shooting high %'s and sharing the rock... they hate him there so much now do u think GAJ will get booed when he returns to Geelong for  agme?

Cicjose

Maybe but not as severely. Lebron James is getting paid a truckload more money than GAJ and GAJ moved cause he wanted a new challenge (captaincy) and money whereas Lebron moved for the money and he snubbed Cleveland because he didn't think they would win a championship

bomberboy0618

imo he's an idiot for moving. Heat are just a big name club that get owned when the business end rolls around. Lakers are the best!

RiOtChEsS

he didnt move for the money he was on 20m+ a year in cleveland and is only getting a 16m a year contract in miami he moved to try and win titles... the $ on his basketball contract mean little this is a guy who signed a $90million contract with nike before he played a single NBA game straight out of high school no less... thats where all the top players make the most of their money endorsements etc

Cicjose

Lebron did the right thing in moving from Cleveland because he didn't want the pressure of being the best player of a team. He moved to Miami to get protection but he is outplaying Wade and Bosh that proves that he is the best of the big 3.

Wade is now at the bottom of the triumvirate of Bryant, James and Wade in the best players of the NBA IMO.

RiOtChEsS

its too early to say they r still working out how best to co exist give it time... when they fall behind they have been defaulting to isolation plays and wade bosh or lebron going to their moves, the thing they need to work on is getting easy shots like boston they have slick ball movement and they work the whole defence to get the best shot and they dont care who gets it

Cicjose

well when boston last beat miami pierce shot 8 of 9 from beyond the arc the only miss was his last shot

LeBron would have made more money if he stayed at the Cav's.  He left to try and win titles.  Cav's had plenty of years to try and build a team around LeBron to try and win a championship.  They failed.

#12
Kevin Garnett banked in a shot with 1.4 seconds left to give the Boston Celtics their ninth straight NBA victory, 102-101 over Philadelphia.

At Dallas, Dirk Nowitzki had 21 points and 10 rebounds, and Shawn Marion added 18 points as the Mavericks stretched their winning streak to 11 games, thrashing the the Nets 102-89 and spoiling former coach Avery Johnson's return to Texas.
