But now the chemistry of the team is gone completely... Howards unhappy because of the trades... Its a mess. They need a change of coaching as that is where the errors are, in the game plan.

They are by far not stronger now. Ever since Turkoglo left, he has done nothing. Just because he comes back now, you think he will perform? Fat chance. lol

i do think turk will play better bcos he gets back that point forward role he was good at and in toronto and phoenix they didnt give him that role he was expected to play a more traditional forward... on sportscenter they were saying Howard was the driving force behind the trades bcos he wasnt happy with either lewis or carter and had spats with both players this year... i agree chemistry if shot to pieces but they have 60 games to get some... defensively they were shower anyway but now they have better ball handling and shooting... and definitely agree the coaching and strategies need some attention if howard cant get lobs he struggles and he doesnt have a mid range game but thats where the 3point shooting of nelson reddick arenas jrich and turk could spread the floor for him to get them dunks/oops

But Marcz, that is the thing mate... They are still a shooting team. Stoill a jump shot team. And that is easy to play against in this time and age. Its why Miami were losing this season at the start, because they weren't taking it to the ring enough.

And look at them now, James stops flowering around at the 3 and starts driving and getting to the board and BANG a 12 streak and much more dominant side.

but 8-6, that's the whole point of the Orlando set-up - you've got the dominant big-man in the NBA holding down your middle so you surround him with the 3-pt shooters to spread the floor - the opposing team has to pick it's poison ... get smashed by Dwight or let them shoot 3s ...

they've still got a few who could get to the ring - Nelson, and now Arenas, J-Rich and to a lesser extent Turk

Master Q

Bad Trades by the Magic IMO. Even with Howard crashing the boards and 3 Point Shooters you still need someone to drive to score and lay off for Howard to Dunk.

Can't believe they gave away Vince Carter echhhhh

while the new crew shot terribly again today jrich 4/13 turk 2/11 arenas 1/6 they only lost by 6pts to dallas who r one of the hottest teams right now with 23wins 5losses... turk led the team with 8 assists and howard had 26pts 23rebs... the team shot 11/29 from 3point range here is the box score

HOLY SHOWER THE MAGIC just got a whole lot better aquiring Gilbert Arenas Jason Richardson and Hedo Turkoglu overnight and gave up bugger all in return... Rashard Lewis for Arenas and Vince Carter Pietruis and Gortat for J Rich and Turk... this makes them a MONSTER in the east... The East is looking strong this year and the semi finals will be amazing Boston Orlando Miami Bulls imo 8)

No offence but... Are you flowering kidding me Marcz? The magic got screwed big flowering time making the trades.

The Lewis to Arenas trade isn't very bad... But the trades to the Suns are where they got raped in the ass. The Suns came up massively ahead. They get the very Underrated Gortot for height they need.

Now lets look at it this way...

Gortot = Turkoglo = Well balanced trade.

Vince Carter  and Pietruis plus Cash and a future first round draft pick > J Rich = ??? Are you flowering serious? lol
must be Phoenix banking on Gortat taking a step up to be the starting centre??

i think they're just preparing for Nash retiring in the next year or so - smart guys running the show in Phoenix i'm hoping - they are hopefully going to make the Suns a defensive team little bit by little bit without 'blowing everything up'.

I don't know about the Suns coming out massively ahead, think it could just be a win-win situation - J-Rich was pretty much the Suns' leading scorer and Turk should do better moving back to that point-forward role that Orlando had him playing the year they went to the NBA finals.

I don't get Nelson and Arenas together, playing the same time - two point guards??
how's Orlando gonna work that?

arenas is the 6th man... and he is more of a shooting gaurd

Magic r smashing the Spurs by 20 points with 5 minutes left... Spurs had only lost 3 games prior to this

Heat burn up the Staples :)
and the magic snapped the celtics 14game win streak hmmm...

8-6 Suited

Celtics are a different team without Rondo though... So its difficult to assess without full strength sides as the Magic were, and theCeltics weren't.

Spurs were out played by the Magic who match up fantastically against them, was a great game that.

the nuggets r bluffing their a$$es off asking this in exchange for carmelo

they may aswell stick ONO on that ridiculous offer and start getting real they only bargaining power they have is that he is currently contracted to them and if they dont trade him before feb 24 they get nothing in return... the glass is half empty nuggets not half full... with the collective barganing agreement set to discount a players salary by 20% a team would be mad to make any sort of run at melo for what he wants which is 3years 65million dollars when they could sign him for far less  in the offseason and not give up picks or players
