I think he meant there'd be a better chance to stay up and thus get more money after next season
Yes, and also finish higher in the table... 1st/2nd/3rd rather than 6th/7th etc.

Exactly my point, why Ireland might be better, depends on how many are going to each one. If they're even I will choose Scotland so I can watch the games unfold.

roo boys!

I'm staying faithful to Sri Lanka :)

Fletch74

All explained earlier today, it depends on how many people join those leagues.

roo boys!

Yes, and if you go to Sri Lanka you could end up in Div 3 or 4 anyway.

BB what's your team name?

Stuck between going to Ireland or staying in Aus   :-\ Likely to move up to Div 6 in SOD and T20's, and the times are bad for me in Ireland, but there's so much money to be made there  :-\

Also, just so everyone knows, when you move, you lose your supporters.

Fletch74

I won't... I may be Div 5. They already have about 120 teams there. that is the cutoff for Div 4

roo boys!

Well they go back to 500, yes. But the gate payments are higher...

Fletch74

In Sri Lanka, than Ireland and Scotland?

roo boys!

Nah, it all depends on what division you end up in.
