I pick Pepe Reina.

Self explanatory.

Midfield and attack is so super super stacked.

8-6 Suited

Consecutive years he has been named Serie A - Defender of the Year. Not hard to understand, is it. :x

The rest behind that, yeah it was for the other person but I had written them both at the same time. So it was a mix of both lol. Clearly since he plays for Juventus and Zanetti, Inter... The same as Cordoba, you can see how that could happen. :P

I was waiting for Reina to get picked. Would be Spain's number 1 if it wasn't for Casillas.

Ok this is what I imaging Hilly's team to look like.

MTTY's pick is this guy:

Olof Mellberg. A very solid choice for CB were played the majority of his career at Aston Villa. More recently with Juventus and Olympiacos. Not many honours to his name but was certainly a rock down back for Villa for a long time.

Andrew3737

I'm guessing this is a paper draft yes?

What more do you want Andrew? Because I suspect that any player that is amazing enough at some point in their career has something on paper to show for it. :x

Justin Bieber

I am suprised one of the Keepers I would of gotten hasn't been chosen by now. Not many individual awards but team success is there ;). Pretty sure most of you should guess who I'm talking about 8).

What do you mean by paper draft andrew?

Andrew3737

No, I was meaning in the fact that we are just putting a team together on paper. Not like putting an actual team that would work.

For my left midfielder, I am choosing a guy more suited to the centre, but he has played as Left Midfielder at International level
QuoteWith the turn of the century, Scholes became a prominent player in England's midfield, becoming a first-choice selection for the 2002 World Cup. However, after the tournament, Scholes saw his opportunities in the national team decline due to Sven-Göran Eriksson playing him out of position on the left midfield to accommodate the pairing of Steven Gerrard and Frank Lampard in central midfield. Scholes announced his retirement from international football in August 2004, citing his family life and his club career with Manchester United as being more important.
He is one of the better mids of his time and a personal favourite of mine, I choose:

Paul Scholes

This leaves me with the team:

I feel this to be a fairly solid team that would do well :)

Andrew3737

ABOUT FING TIME. Scholes has been one of the BPA since round 2.

Justin Bieber

Got both the Neville's in there ;D.

CrowsFan

I was waiting for Scholes to get picked, but didn't expect him to be chosen on the left!

Ah right andrew, I thought the team was meant to work though
