Henry, Wiltord and Pires all switched positions throughout a game. So, sometimes he did. Mostly of course Pires did play left wing.

My next pick was a tough one, going for a defensive midfielder which didn't limit the pool at all really. I wanted Ferriera de Rosa but he retired last year due to injuries.

Therefore I will have to go for:


Patrick Vieira

Vieira is one of the most decorated midfielders in the history of premier league football in England, having won 3 championship titles with Arsenal throughout 1996-2005 of which one was unbeaten. He was also voted as 5th in the arsenal's best ever midfielders, and has 200+ caps for France.

He is also one of the most punished players, being infracted and carded more than almost everyone else in EPL history as well. :D
