12 is too many teams considering that there are only 20 teams, which means 20 playing keepers each year, which means some teams could end up not having a playing keeper.
I think 8 is a good number, 10 could also be pushing it

Current Players get priority. Some players can Co-Manage I guess If people can't handle the work load.

Doing the Draft again makes me shiver...

8 is a good number but 10 could still work out. 12 could also be used but will mean slim pickings end of draft (Just pick up Back Up keepers those who don't pick early). 10 could work and it can lead to teams being a bit more equal. There are alot of players and will make those 3rd and 4th tier players more important!

when players need to use a reserve keeper that is when there first keeper is injured meaning a second keeper will be getting a shot so just simply drop ur reserve keeper and but that backup keeper on
