He is 25 and has been playing since he was 17-18 I think. So he has been around for a while. But as Andrew said, don't be surprised if he gets transfered anyway.

Could still happen. By getting the contract signed it just means that clubs will have to pay more to get him now

Rumours are that he signed in respect for the club and will leave in the summer for more money. So that he does the right thing for Man Utd.
