i agree, just think it will take him time.

Luigi197

hmm.... looks very similiar to my team which in the last 4 votes averaged 9.75... ;) hehe

mind telling what your structure is (in the format of premium/mid/cheap/rookie for each position)

for me there are too many ppl that almost are a premium but actually arent where instead u could have a better premium or a rookie for extra money (i.e Broughton, Hurn, Green, Sidebottom). I'd go MAX 6 mid-pricers also ... Also look at consistency rate, not solely based on little awesome periods from last year (i.e Hurn, Green, Sidebottom...)

and for your benches, look at other ppl's teams for good ideas (i.e mine ;) )
Also watch out for the amount of GCU players you have, so keep the byes in mind.

Keep trying  ;D lol :P
Currently worth an 8.25 from me ;)

Cheers, Luigi

PS: try posting a post saying you've edited your team then edit the original post if u can. Makes it easier for u ;)

MajorLazer

I'm not sure on the structure. Cbf checking right now. :P
Yer this isn't necessarily going to be anything close to my team and that's why I didn't edit my original post. Just going to put teams I come up with in this thread to save myself making many threads.

I disagree with the consistency of the players you mentioned.

Here are Green's SC scores since '05

     Games Played          Total              Average
2005   20                      1957               97.8
2006   21                      1968               93.7
2007   18                      1687               93.7
2008   20                      1979               98.9
2009   12                      1022               85.1
2010   22                      2124               96.5

That is pretty consistent.

Hurn is a SC God and I'm willing to risk it on him and Sidebottom is very young and should improve a lot next year.

The rookies will most likely change after seeing their NAB form.

kk, but i just reckon you'll want to upgrade him (green) and others to someone who averages over 100 further into the season..

MajorLazer

Yer I'm trying to be a little bit different to others that will probably have a premium in his spot.

Maca24

why would you upgrade green? he is a good scorer and ill be conisdering him. 99% chance sidebottom improves his scoring to 90+ so keep him to.

MajorLazer

Yer they will most likely be in my team next season, but will wait til NAB to be 100% sure.

Maca, with Green - isn't it a price/avg ratio thing?
Green as a premium but not a super-premium, wouldn't it be better to upgrade him to a super-premium (Chapman, etc) or downgrade to team-mate Sylvia for example and gambling on upside?

I prefer Green over Sylvia.
+1, more consistent, even though he is aging.

MajorLazer

He's also a bit of a unique. ;D

MajorLazer

Got bored so I made another team. Will post it very soon.

MajorLazer

This is the rookie/premium team and I am pretty sure I won't be going wit this startegy. Just wanted to try it out.

Backs
B.Goddard, L.Hodge, B.Lake, B.Deledio, B.Smedts, B.Jacobs, T.Mzungu
Bench
P.Puopolo, C.Richardson, J.Toy

Mids
D.Swan, J.Selwood, D.Swallow, A.Gaff, D.Heppell, S.Atley
Bench
M.Wallis, A.Krakouer, D.McNeil

Rucks
A.Sandilands, D.Jolly
Bench
Z.Smith, S.Lycett

Forwards
P.Chapman, N.Riewoldt, L.Franklin, A.Didak, M.Pavlich, D.Prestia, I.Smith
Bench
A.Hooper, J.Lamb, J.Darling

$401,400 left. As I said, I probably won't go with this strategy, but may have 4 rookies in the mids to create a strong forward and backline.
Let me know what you think.

Junktimer

upgrade smedts to broughton and your good to go!
