Seam Spec won't always work higher in the order. I tend to have 2 of mine play End of the innings as they both have OBB talents and have actually won a game for me due to tight bowling at the end with about 4-5 wickets in 3 overs in T20.

It's a bonus but wouldn't make him get fatigued if their are better batters who could go ahead of him while he still has to bowl.

if he doesn't bowl for you bat him at 4 in my opinion

Do you only play 4 specialist batsmen? I play five, then have my keeper at 6, AR at 7 and then 4 bowlers.

Sounds alright. Keepers usually use more fitness so better to push him down a bit. I play my Keeper at 6 as I don't have any all rounders yet to make my first XI.

5 Specialist Batsman for me (although 2 can be part time keepers if needed). Bowlers can't bat besides Flanagan who can only bat a tad and is there for minor resistance late.

i have 5 batters, a keeper and now an AR. BAtting line-up is stronger now so thinking AR at 5 or 6 and keeper below him

That sounds good with 4 bowlers + AR. More batting depth is never a bad thing espcially if your bowling doesn't take a big hit.

no way. i have an entire top order of Out/Out with a spec/out. My best batter is 25 with spec/out. Then 23 year old with Out/Out near a pop to spec/spec and then 21 year old Out/expert. Training really well
