My first recorded team on fanplanner!  ;D
Couldn’t exactly get the players that I wanted, where I wanted but this is a start for me, pretty happy with my list so far

My wishlish tho would be:
Ablett in the FWDS, with Conca (instead of Goodes and Bradshaw/Lynch)
Harris in the BACKS, with Heppell on the bench (instead of Drummond and Iles)
I couldn’t find A.Treloar in the mids so thinking of J.Green or Heppell as my backup

Think my main issues are Bradshaw and Drummond atm, but keen on working them in as can see some scoring potential off their prices

Also that 3 rookie mid stratergy could work, if not I’m eyeing off Foley or Kerr (in NAB) or a deadsett premo mid like J.Selwood, Boyd or Cross  ;)

petrie from north is 170k would be better than bradshaw. and i reckon bock might be alright at the GC. hes 335. dunno wat drummond is priced at. but i think one thing that u have missed its mpp. with soo many byes and shower going on in 2011, dual position shower is gunna be vital.

got Petrie on my rucks bench but yeh culd move him to the forwards. then might look at Majak Daw, but he really would have to stand out in NAB

Yeh might look at having Dyson Heppell in my mids bench if he's listed as a mpp B/C and then a F/c to compliment Goodes and Didak up forward

Drummond and Adcock down back? Both look good but I reckon Drummond is purely an SC player. Don't have a problem with the others. Although, Could use MPP with the mids with half of them being MPP eligble (according to the fanplanner).

Mids look good with good use of the midfield strong draft.

Rucks are a set and forget combo. Probably put in Smith instead of Petrie on the bench to save cash and play Petrie up forward. If going on past years, he's more than worthy of owning a starting spot.

Forwards really stacked with pretty much all of them good. Don't like Bradshaw though. Is a great player but his age and his ongoing injuries/body letting him down is a little worry. I agree with RobertHarvey saying to replace him with Petrie.

All up, pretty good first up effort :D. Alot of teams though feature some more MPP with the Byes coming into play just to cover those who are out for a round.

yeh cheers HP had considered that with Petrie, will look on where rookies like Day, Lycett and Gorringe end up afta the draft, tho a decent forward/ruck 77ker rookie would be nice. would be good also if Day gets mmp status

i have deff been thinking about MPPs more for 2011 then i did with 2010, as I said before, hoping for some damaging rookies to get MPP status like Heppell and Conca or Liberatore, see how we go with that

I think Bradshaw can be in the same position as Barry Hall last year for DT.
TDL, Goodes and ROK shud take some attention away and if hes fit and firing hed be a good pickup at his current price.

Drummond has always been a smokey for me, had him a few years ago in DT and loved him, I know he is purely SC (same as Hill) but he does seem to be the goto man out of defense for the Lions

no krackouer i noticed?????
yeh LE i know, he is deff on my radar, just wary of his security in the collingwood lineup, ud think hed be a decent replacement for someone like Davis or Goldsack tho, might have to change his game up for the Pies structure

fair play mate...

i think that drummopned is a no in your back line. he doesnt rack up the possesions like a dt player is supposed too. everyone is else is very good especially houli i am getting on too :)

mids as hp said a good use of a strong draft. i havent heard of some of the rookies but i trust you have done your research ;)

rucks are lock and leave nice and strong there. make petrie a forward imo too.

and a great forward line but yeah drop bradshaw for petrie and watch out for darling as he has a verrrryyyy short temper :/ :)

all in all good team mate nice 8/10

still hoping for some MPP rookies to change in that midfield for Green and Wallis
Dyson Heppell (C/B) and Reece Conca (C/F) would be perfect

is Lucas Cook a better talent then Jack Darling?
Cook seems to have a better attitude, and possession winning ability
Under 18s Round 1
"Lucas Cook (Vic Country)
Had 20 possessions, took seven marks and kicked five goals in his team’s win over Vic Metro. From North Ballarat in the TAC Cup, Cook is 194cm and looks an outstanding key forward prospect.

Haven't heard much about Cook but have heard alot about Darling, not all good though :P.

Right now don't have to have anybody locked in. Just keep them on your shortlist and look at where they go and how they perform in the off season.

oh deff dont have any real locks yet, as things always change due to the NAB draft, rookie draft, the teams the rookies go to and of course theyre application of their skills to the NAB Cup
but thinking about their possibilities already is making me salivate haha!!
cheers HP

Lucas Cook has been a bit of a late bolter in the Under18s TAC Cup
playing some really good footy as a floater between CHF and FF
likened to Riewoldt (as they all are)

A lot don't now that Darling's dominate year in the U18's wasn't 2010(he went pretty poorly)
But in 2009 he ripped it up thats why he was favoured to go number 1 at the start of the year until he turned bad boy and then the mantle went to Swallow who won the Div 1 best and Fairest in 2009 U18 champs, Bennell won it this year.

yeh Darling had a stella 2009, (was in the All Aus Under18s Team that year)and when he didnt get drafted las year i was a bit perplexed (not knowing he was too young!)
just a bit wary of him, tho may include him depends on the draft and NAB form

Alphaman

great side only 1 issue, bradshaw was not a dream teamer before, isnt now, and never will be
