Well according to the player predictor if you pulled him at the start of the season so he got 14 weeks training and you put them all on fielding he still wouldn't pop to reasonable tech (assuming no sub skill). And that is with my lavish academy, so there is no way you could get him to cap tech before 17 by just doing fielding training ;)

The player predictor isn't spot on. I know of only 1 that is and it isn't a public thing. But you are right that he wont get to capable. That was a very idealist comment.

nah for my main side, I have been purchasing 16yos.  My affiliate will be sitting there in the lowly divisions of Australia until the end of the year at the earliest. When I renew it, I will probably start getting the YA up about then.
