I should get used to those types of youths seeing as I dont invest any money in to my YA.  Its currently at meagre

Me too, but I'm keeping mine as I need to sell my last 19yo. I will fire next week when I either pull someone half decent or buy a player.

I have 18 and will only lose 1 player so will have 17 at the start of next season

Why on earth would you train him as a bowler? He has dreadful bowling!!
Train as a batter if you want to keep him, but for this late in the season he is pretty rubbish. He is basically 17

Well a spinner with arm ball and ord batting/finisher would be handy. But I agree his bowling would be too far behind.
