Well I pulled a Scottish batsmen this week and got this... Myles Ramsay

A 20,875 avg/dread batsmen, but with ordinary keeping and avg fielding, so what do I do.... :-\ :-\ I figure I have 3 options?

1) Sell him now, although at week 9 in the season I don't I'd get a great deal with a tech gap that big!

2) Train him to be my keeper, considering my current keeper is 19, by training him on keeping and fielding for the next season and a half. Hopefully that will help in closing the tech gap. I have a reasonable YA. He currently has 2,875 Spare ratings...

3) Train him on keeping and endo until the end of the season, then sell him and hope that his tech pops at least once and I can get an inflated price at EOS

Any advice would be appreciated ;) Cheers guys :)

Sucks that he should be so lucky. He doesn't deserve it >:(

Agreed Fletch, but I think he does have an awesome youth academy. Still - it isn't right.

I would be training your YP up till you get at least one tech pop. He has 3,875 spare ratings, so it shouldn't take too long with any luck. Shame he wasn't ave in tech instead of keeping  ::)

I don't think you would get too much for him if you sold him now.

I agree that I wouldn't get too much :( He has 2,875 spare ratings BTW. Also if I get one tech pop towards the end of the season he still won't sell for a great deal, so might just train him up to be my next Youth keeper. Will save me having to buy one, unless anyone else has any better idea's...?

Barlow 21

Why not? I sold all my good youth pulls for one reason. I have a horrid YA. Both my guns came from USA. I have just been lucky. 8)

I don't believe that. There is a correlation between your YA and the pulls you get. I've had 3 reasonable pulls this season, and I invest 15k into my YA, and it is sitting on improving. People who don't invest in their YA, have been getting crap pulls.... enough said!

Barlow 21

Well how have I bought such an awesome senior team in half a season investing heaps into academies?

roo boys!

Crap pulls for me all season, and I don't invest at all. There is a reason for that. I may get 1 gun pull in 4 seasons if I get lucky once with a non-existant academy. You claim to have had a few in a season.

Also, how long have you been not investing to get it to non-existant? Would take about a season to get it down to that mate ::)

Through selling your pulls...

Barlow 21

So I have bought 19 players for over 50k and have bought about 30 players this season and invested 30k into academies? Do you really think that? Plus paying massive wages and 10k Ground Maintenance?

Fletch74

And then you have to also count your ex-players that you sold as well...
