17yo aswell for me. Avg/ord, but dreadful fielding. Probably could've kept him, but I'll get better eventually this season. :)

really? i could use the money more than the player - this is my main club and i am doing youth in main club and senior in affiliate.

so upgraded this clubs youth academy to good so far.

should i train his batting to average then sell ? keep him ? or sell him now ?

if sell him now what retailer would i put on him, wouldn't want to lose him too cheap...

@ Nails - thanks Iam still clueless

this is my affiliate clubs - also asked for a batsmen, got a keeper batsmen, not as good, but only a reasonable youth academy...

Fielding trains fastest at age 16 so you should train fielding first.... to at least reasonable but seeing as its a 1st week pull I would train to capable (should take between 6 - 8 weeks depending on sublevels and youth academy)

Then switch to primaries

thanks valkorum, i had no idea about training except power - don't bother until mid 20's.

I'll switch him to fielding.

Are you selling or training? I'm confused

I personally find when selling players putting a starting price of $0 tends to work best

Also I like to list them around 10pm Australian time tuesday night as their sale then ends on Friday around 10pm and it's one of the most popular times for FTP.

Colliwobblers

thanks Nails will do that, was waiting for response for JB as to what I should do with him.

But i was leaning towards training for a while before selling to get more money? or just keep him.

But i didn't know what valk said about training. so i was just going to put him on batting.

my youth academy level is "good" so might be worth keeping him.

Nails

You have a number of options and ultimately it's up to you colli

In regards to selling when

The earlier you sell a player, the more they are worth. Whoever is going to buy him off you will likely have superior/lavish/lux/deluxe academy. Therefore it'll really only hurt the development, and the boys with the big academies will pay the big bucks to get him in their top notch academy from week 1.

JBs-Hawks

Judging by his wage collie id say he doesnt have a huge amount of spare ratings in batting or technique so id probably sell him and get your academy up and buy some cheaper similar players in a few weeks. This week is the most inflated prices for 16 yos so cash in whilst you can :)

Maybe put a 400k price on him and hope someone bites? Cyrus or CF might have a better idea how much his value is as they buy alot of 16yos. If no one bites then you can keep him for yourself :)
