By that age I would definitely expect him to have far more.
Also you should train him on power since seamers need good power ;)

I would agree with CF Baz. Experience is the number 1 key factor in this game.

I just bought Keith Martin a reas/out/exp AR at 27 with reliable experience. I deperately needed an AR :D

I guess I forget to look at experience when buying players, I only look at their skills. Is it more important to judge players on their skills or their summaries because he is only accomplished summary.

He is only accomplished summary because of his low experience and poor power.
When I search for players I always make sure they don't have low experience for their age before making a bid. You need to look at the whole picture not just his primary stats

Baz, I'd get working on that Strength training straight away, and get him up to reas or cap power.

CF is right, experience helps with consistency. This is not to say your player won't play well in one match, but he may play terribly in the next...

Just out of interest where did he come from. The team you bought him from, where was he from?

The team I bought Martin from was from NZ, which means he got training this morning, and he'll get training again tonight :D :D

It can happen a lot if you buy on Thursday's. It's not where the player is from, it's where he is transferred from...

Buy from Australian and NZ teams on Thursday arvo and you're fine ;)

I'm not sure if it works like that ???. Think they can only train once a week even if teams are changed between.

But I'm not sure so will have to wait and see. Hopefully it does mean double for you :P.

I think I need to sell one of my bowlers, to keep wages down. Ali, Naved and Chiba are locks. The other three are Stevenson, who is going to stay, and so it is basically out of Qasim or Hof. Hof has a better summary by 2 levels but I think that is just because Qasim has average form....

Hof has capable fielding, yet Qasim has Accomplished fielding with safe hands. So Qasim wins there.

Qasim is a FM, Hof is a FS. Qasim probably wins there.

Qasim is Exp/Exp, Hof is Outs/Outs... Hof wins there.

Qasim has better experience, but is one year older.

Also, Qasim has better endurance and power, not that Hof needs power but still, better.


So it looks like a no brainer. But can I sell Hof now, he has reliable form which gives him an Outstanding summary, and Qasim has Average form which gives him an Accomplished summary.
So, for the short term Hof is a lot better, Qasim will be better in 4/5 weeks. Help?

Also everyone, not much point saying but I will just slip a bid on this 16 year old because he is a Stevenson ;D No one will outbid me because he is quite bad, but I need him! lol
