true in a way but depending how smart u are

say we get rid of dibs and ppl go nuts bidding if they land a few they will be broke then u have no worries next time

I just don't think dibs are necessary because when I see that an FFer has the leading bid, I generally leave them (unless I really need them). I think others do the same as well, but it is up to them.

Also makes it easier to bid on players without having to search 10 pages back and check if they had been dibsed.

i agree i know it's only a game i just see what BP is saying i think his worried about basically it becoming those with the bigger bank account wins out

maybe before we straight out say it's abolished wait to see what some of the other regulars think like shaggy/Ax/R&B/HP/Q

I suggested earlier in this thread that we should introduce a $$$ cap on dibsed players, meaning when a player reaches this amount, dibsed are void.
Eg if I have a dibs and the cap is 100k, if this player reaches 100k then anyone can go for him.
Also I reckon limiting dibs to a certain amount per week. Maybe 2 or 3. This is cos some of us are on FTP much more than others and can do more research on the Transfer Market.

maybe instead of a vote we go with a one week trial of no dibs and see how that turns out and post feedback in a new thread on whether we think it's working or not?

that is actually how it started the rule was player name link and what u will go up too
if he went past that he was fair game
