OK well on a green pitch that is a bowlers pitch, for the last 2 spells you want your bowlers on (D) or (N) as that is when batsmen will be attacking your bowlers and good tight bowling will end up taking more wickets than offensive bowling. I would say it is OK to have 1 bowler on (A) for the first or second spell to try and get a couple of early wickets, then another bowler on (A) around the drinks break (spells 5/6) as the drinks break tends to help the bowler more than the batsman.

One thing I try and do is for every (A) spell I give a bowler I give another (or the same bowler later) a spell on (D)

Also say all of your bowlers are reli/reli but one is a finger spinner or a medium, so they are not likely to be taking many wickets, it is a good idea to give them a spell on (D) as the main appeal of those bowler types is they can restrict runs.

Also if this is all completely wrong (which there is a chance it could be) then my orders have been all stuffed up for the last season and a half 0_o

You are right in most of what you said Alex. Just be careful though as too many orders can make your side unstable. Too defensive can lead to collapses. Too aggressive also can have a similar effect.

Bowling wise it always depends on the pitch conditions and the weather to how you play your bowlers.
