Ok here is my team for my round 1 match against the pre season cup winners Hello. Since I am the away team it will be hard to win since he has a 3 point advantage. I will also be wearing my away shirts. So here is my team:

                                 Reina

            Dunne        Ferdinand       Boateng

    Lee           Lampard        Gerrard        Dempsey
                        (C)              (VC)

           Jerome          Torres         Rodallega

Bench:

   Gilks        Jagielka   Etherington   Koscielny

I went Lampard captain with the hope that he may return this week against Wolves, if he doesn't I think Gerrard playing at home against Blackburn should do well. It was a toss up between Boateng and Koscielny for the third defender spot since they are playing each other, but I thought that Man City are more likely to keep a clean sheet at home rather than Arsenal away.

I would avoid Rooney as captain this week. Uncertain whether he will play or not. Bale could be an option after getting a hattrick this morning against Inter. If you want a guaranteed 12 points from your captain pick Terry. Wolves wont score at Stamford Bridge, plus he could bob up with an assist or goal

I wouldn't say Young isn't a great Captain choice but has the ability to score and set up. But Villa aren't in the greatest form but could easily snap out of it (Hopefully). Terry seems good as well.

GK: Hart

DEF: Vermalean, Baines, Ivanovic,

MID: Milner, Arshavin, Nani (C), Brunt

FWD: Berbatov, Agbonlahor, Davies (VC)

Bench: Jääskeläinen, Henderson, Johnson, El Mohamady

Hard to choose the bench from my guys almost every week now!!! Most of them are in form and just lucky 2 of them are injured to allow my super subs on :P. When they get back though.......

Brunt has been is solid form so got the nod ahead of Henderson as well as Johnson and El. Nani gets the C as he's found some consistency to his game and Davies the VC just for a smokie ;D.

Yeah i think ill just stick Terry C and Bale VC

Interesting that you put Alex on the bench Q, I read earlier in the week that he was a chance to play this weekend, but that may have changed...

Safe captain choices there Hilly and Zz ;)

I would say that a draw against wolves isn't good enough for chelsea
