What do people think about Stoke, one of the best performing teams considering they just got promoted a few years ago.

They've got a nice squad but will be suprised if they keep it up. No stand out stars however a few good players who hold the team together.

Sorenson is a big player for them ;).

Arsene Wenger would call their style of play 'rugby'. They are a good side, but are a little 1 dimensional in how they play, so they struggle to change their rhythm if losing. Kenwyne Jones will certainly help because he will add the height in the box so he will become the target of Delap's famous long throws. Etherington is definitely their star player though

Etherington is their playmaker 8). Think he was well worth it going to them :). Getting gametime and being a team leader on the pitch.

Had Delap in my team last season :P.

Stoke are just a vry good defensive side. They don't really have a playmaker because they don't have the ball long enough. Tuncay usually is if he plays. He plays in the hole.gif . Like CF, if they are loosing, they don't do much. Push players forward but thats about it.

Tuncay is a nice shadow striker to have. Watched him when he use to play for Middlesborough.
