Summary: Essendon young gun Michael Hurley has always had big wraps on him since coming to the club, earmarked as the next Fletcher. Hasn't quite fulfilled the potential as yet, but has shown some great signs to show he will be a future star. He has had some injury problems, but maybe his biggest problem has been the Essendon coaches as he has been playing both back and forward in his short career. He may find himself a set position under new coach James Hird.

Verdict: He is on my shortlist, will be his third year, and I have a feeling it may be a breakout one for him. If he has a big pre-season, with his MPP status and under 350K he could turn out to be a very handy mid ranger.

probably my favourite player. love everything about him.
so versatile great mark and a great kick. the kid is about to explode.
definitely short listed for me plus he is MPP.

I'm with you Maca.  Pencilled him in very early.  I personally would prefer to see him play up the ground, very strong pair of hands.  Nearly a lock.  Surprised if he doesn't break out this year.

hooker and pears should be KPP. hurley taking the 3rd forward IMO.
or he will be playing CHF. really think he has good rebound as he racked up 28 disposals in 1 of the last games.
