Agreed I'm not exactly over the moon with how much faith he is showing... end of next year there will be a cull.

Guessing Mark Williams is contracted. A good preseason might see him in the best 22. Won't win a premiership with him though

I think its good that Hird is adopting the Matthew Knights theory to list management. Basically along the lines of, 'these guys are not that bad and with some great coaching which I personally can introduce, they'll come good'!

Should keep the Bombers around the 10-14 mark for a few years yet.

good moves but think slattery was very stiff loved the look off him in his first game but argh well spose we have enough key defenders.
Mark williams, ricky dyson and neagle are lucky.

Agree about those 3 Maca but unless we want to pay them out they're all contracted... I really liked the look of T Slatts against Adelaide when we lost by 15 goals... 16 touches & a goal on debut isn't bad...

Tyson was alright but didn't show enough to keep a spot :'(. Would of loved to see him tried some more but with Pears and Hooker, doubt he'll fit into the equation with others filling in the gaps down back.

Williams better show something >:(. Used to be a great sharpshooter but isn't what he use to be :'(. Was one of my favs.

Neagle is a strong mark and good kick but other than that..... Plays where Lloyd use to but not as agile ::).

I like Dyson. Use to be a good booming kick and can add some goals as well. Like him on the wings or off half forward. Out of favour though :'(.

agree boomz id always liked dyson but now whenever he gets an oppurtunity he seems to spud it up. if he doesnt show something this year he is gone. perhaps essendon could have tried to trade slattery? could have got polo in return  :) think essendon needs a half back runner.
