Not bad, one thing I might do if I was you would change Enright to Kelly, Enright is getting tagged a bit more and Kelly usually escapes it, and he is also MPP

I must admit that I thought a little bit between the 2of them (not long though cos I did that team up in about 40 minutes).  Enright has always been Mr Reliable for me (ok... second after Bartel) so thats why he got the nod.  I have the mpp covered (except for R/F & B/F)

Backs: Goddard, Gilbee, Houli all B/C
Mids: Chappy F/C, Hodge B/C
Rucks: Petrie R/F
Fwds: Didak, Petterd both F/C

So the rotations between Fwd - Mid, Mid - Backs are covered (which are the major ones)

I saw you had it covered but it also gives you that extra option anyway, but I think, and this is my opinion, Kelly will outscore Enright

Now that I think about it.  Enright was copping a tag towards the end of the year which really hurt his scores.  Still a long way till the 2011 DT Season though :P

The other thought is that Gia will prob get some more midfield time (especially if he is named captain).  The few games he played in the midfield last year he killed it - 120'ish

benjy251090

Yeah, he could be a good option

and that is what this forum is for, seeing things you didn't see before :)

I think Veszpremi will go to the half forward and Sherman will prob go there as well which could mean Gia goes to the midfield.  Then he might be worth picking up.

why is everyone avoiding brown, if he could get anywhere close to how he started last year, he could be the best forward dt in the comp and at a price under 400k he is the first lock in my team

valkorum

I tried to stay away from your forward only players (apart from Roo).  Went more down the lines of forwards that can go in to the midfield.  I have Darling as well but only to hold about $150k.  He will prob come out of my final squad for another youngster who is doing well in the NAB Cup.

Looking good Valk 8).

Stevie J a bit up and down but can sure light up a game!! And also nice rookies so far ;).

I think with Ablett gone Chappy will continue to rotate more in the midfield, leaving Stevie J as the man in there.  Definitely was up and down this year but really wanted to get a Cat in the forward line ;)

Brown is also not supposed to be back on the park until Feb so he may be a bit under-done

best team i have seen, however if this were my team i would drop chappy as he is a bit risky and go to pav who i believe is underpriced. Also i really like the idea of having 2 premium rucks and petrie in the forward line, because as it is if the roos or freo have a bye you will have to rely on bench rucks (who never seem to be any good). Also what if both have a bye the same week. If you droped vezpremi for petrie and then spent the extra money (135k + money from chappy to pav) and got a premium ruck like ryder etc... than you should be covered in the rucks all year. This would have been very helpful this year as if one of the premiums go down you put in petrie than you can upgrade to a premium forwrd rather than another ruck. (i hate spending any trades in the ruck department).

valkorum

I see your point with regards to Chappy but he played 21 games last year at 113 and at this stage I am gonna back him in to play that many again this year.

Before 2010 Petrie averaged 86 ('09), 84 ('08), so his scores are premium for a ruck.  Ryder (85), Cox (84), Hille (83), HMac (80) Jolly(80)

With your concern about byes you are going to have that problem regardless if you pick 2 premiums from the outset.  Say you go with Ryder/Sandi.... what happens when Essendon or Freo (or both) have a bye you will have to rely on a bench ruck(s) anyway.

The only way to cover this is to have a R/F ruck and another in your forward line - Petrie, Tippet, M Johnson(Freo), Cameron Cloke, Matthew Lobbe, Majak Daw

or

A B/F ruck in your ruck and another in your backline.. Kepler Bradley, Jackson Trengove.

I dont think it is worth having any of those players in all year for the couple of rounds where you would need to use the MPP.

So I have gone with Petrie in the ruck so I can use the extra money elsewhere
