2010 Stats

Total Score: 1262 (Ranked 212th overall, 49th amongst forwards)
Average Score: 74.24 (Ranked 220th overall, 52nd amongst forwards)
High: 136 (Round 22)
Low: 49 (Round 11)
Standard Deviation: 20.42
Centuries: 1 out of 17
Starting Price: $159,300
High Price: $352,300 (round 22)
Lowest Price: $159,300 (starting price)

Summary:

Proved to be a worth downgrade option last season with Grant not playing the first 4 rounds. Those lucky enough to grab him after Round 6 saw his price rocket to $324,600 after Round 11 due to averaging 76 for his first 6 games. After that Grant slowed down a bit before scoring 136 in the last round to show his potential for next season.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $394,300

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $375,400

Position: FWD

Can prove to be a key alternative to BBB when the Doggies go forward, and with the retirement of Johnson will be relied upon more now to stand up and be counted.

Decision:

Grant has the potential for an average of 80-100 in the next few seasons, but IMO his time is now. He will be the Dogs key link man going forward, and will take plenty of marks and be involved in Goal Assists.

Going into his 4th season, he’s primed to take that next step.

He’s on my short list for now, although his price is a slight deterrant.

unlikely with that price tag
but will watch his preseason
cuz i do like the look of him

Would have polled well in Rising Star had he not gotten in trouble at tribunal.

Unfortunately, 2nd year rule rules him out for me! Great talent though

Seems a bit too much of a risk at that price. Plus for a KPP forward he has no muscle on his body. He is like a bean pole!
If he can put on the kilos I might take a look at him, but unlikely at this point.

ronl

I agree with CrowsFan, he has great natural abilities but he has got to build his body up and be able to stand his ground.  2012 maybe.

Maca24

if only he was 100k less he would be a lock.
unlikely for me but he is a gun player.

I know!!! Needs to work on that this off season ;). But as ronl said, has the natural ability. Not a bad kick and mark either.

I had him pencilled in before the season finished but at that price, shortlisted :o. A bit more than I expected :'(.

I think its his 3rd year next year.. and unlikely from me at that price.. maybe next season :P
