Gorringe going to Essendon? Why would the AFL predict that since we already have 3 viable ruckman on the list? Would much prefer Atley.

I would prefer Atley, Gaff or Caddy as well.
That being said decent mobile big men are hard to come by and Gorringe would be an excellent addition especially when it comes time for Hille to hang up the boots...

Hille's 30 next season. Another good 3 or 4 years in him and have Paddy and Bell to play there as well. Could get Gorringe but he'll be a long term prospect we won't really need for the timebeing.

That is unless Hird plans on Playing Paddy down back or forward more predominantly.

Alll these kids are just randoms to me at the moment, with the exception of mabye Swallow and Bennell. Can't wait to see them start pre season and see who are the best of the lot.

Agreed. He looks quite impressive. I have a suspicion the Hawks might take a gamble and try to pick him up with pick 37.
