Big losses in Johnno, Eagle and Aker. But have not recruited Sherman, Djerkurra and Vezspremi to cover for them. Add Wallis and Liba Jr at steals and they could actually stand a chance.

Will need work of course but still look they may manage another top 4 next year.

8-6 Suited

Big chance for the Flag due to Hall's impressive goal kicking providing they can actually get it to him cleanly.

They have lost some slow forwards, replaced them with some faster legs who should be hitting good form according to all statisticians. Plus the run of Djerkurra in the mid field will be a big asset.

Potential is unlimited if Eade plays them right.

we'll see. we all thought lions would improve with all their drafting.
potential is there for sure though.

Justin Bieber

The thing that turned me off the Lions was too much recruiting. They went overboard with the recycled players while the Dogs only landed 3 of them. And they landed younger guys who have a role waiting for them in the team.

Maca24

yea thats true. on paper its great for the dogs. but im just saying i wouldnt be surprised if it doesnt work out.  :)

Hawka

Hall is worrying tho he wont get 75 goals nxt yr so 1 of my doggie favs old spindle shanks  ;) will need some more goals as well

roo boys!

I think they are a real chance, and I hope they can do it :)

Boomz

They're definitely still a top 4 side but I still think they're not quite going to get there.

Fletch74

Well they believe they're premiership window is still open... They're trading goes along with that.

Excellent trades IMO.

ossie85

Nah, the Dogs have been up for too long IMO.

Sherman? Pfft. Seriously, what has he ever done?

Veszpreszprezimi and Djerkurauurrrakkurra are good players, but not the difference for a premiership (like Ball or Jolly). Most likely just confuse the supporters when they try to spell out the names.

Father-son selections will take a while to develop.

Fletch74

Sherman at a different club... Who knows??

Vespa and Djerkerra are both good talents, but have not had the opportunity.

Liba will take time, but Wallis will be a good first year.

Maybe their time has passed, but they're trying to make it a quick turn around, and I think they have traded well.

Justin Bieber

Exactly Fletch. Doubt they'll contend for the premiership but keeping the door for a top 4/8 position open for the next few years with all these young guys likely to get games.

Wallis would of gone higher if not for the father-son rule ;).

Maca24

wallis would have been top 10 for sure.

dylsta05

exciting for western bulldogs

elephants

what about libra? not getting as much love in this thread?
