Hale is a joke. We already have Renouf and Bailey should return. We can get Robert Campbell back for nothing. Skipper is nothing spectacular but did a reasonable job as backup last season. At the very worst we have Simon Taylor who is rubbish but no worse than Hale. And the fact that we gave up our first pick that is a terrible trade

I still think we don't need him, but he isn't rubbish. Saw him play in a few VFL matches and he played very well. Obviously the standard isn't the same but he should go well.

I just don't see what he offers that Skipper doesn't.

the coaching staff at hawthorn have to teach hale how to not be a lazy footballer and make an effort , hopefully he can do it here just time will tell . I think we overpayed but id love to eat my words!

Love to be wrong... however Hawthorn has a few lazy players - not sure we are the club to break that. Not that I think Hale is that lazy of a player.
