Who is the mystery defender?

Pelchen announced today that the Hawks are interested in a defender that isn't Taz (who they believe is wearing the pies jumper already) but refuse to name who it is.

My normal sources have come up dry. Anybody heard any whispers about who it is?

My understanding is that it was Goldsack that Freo requested for Taz. Doubt that the Hawks would be interested in Goldsack.

Freo have apparently asked for either Goldsack, Wellingham or Dawes.  All the buzz is around Goldsack.... but throwing the idea out there - LAKE

We tried for Lake last year. Can't imagine what we would have to offer the Dogs for Lake though. Add Hill into the mix and we would probable have to offer something like Lewis and a first round pick, or our first round pick and the end of first round pick we got for Brown.

I have too, but every news story is simply going on a single tweet as its source. There is no other concrete information. Goldsack is good, but I think there are greater needs.

As for Taz, I the only thing the Hawks can really do is sit back and hope it falls apart.

Thursfield is linked to the dockers forr a 3rd round pick. I like the idea of the 2 Beau's (Muston and Dowler) for Taz.

Pelchen has said that Thursfield isn't being considered.

Love the idea of the 2 Beaus for Taz. Talk is that Freo is playing hard ball. Apparently Taz has threaten to retire if he doesn't go to Collingwood, seemingly an empty threat given it was his desire to return home to Victoria well before he decided Collingwood was his preference.
