As much as I hate the fact that you guys won. They were the better team, but The Pies still can't win in September ;)

My Dad had to wait 30 years for a Collingwood premiership, and your daughter waited less than 2 weeks :) Awesome stuff

She is in a lucky era, my 5 year old just assumes we will everything all the time. Let's hope she is right.

Why 30 years Ossie?

Born in 1960.. no premiership til 1990 :)

8-6 Suited

I was born in 86, I waited 4 years to attend one, then 20 more to attend another and it was drawn. Didnt go to the 2nd...

But 2 in 24 years isnt bad.

1 in 15 for me could have and probably should have been 3!!

Bulls

COLLLLL........ING..........WOOOOOOOOOOD!!!
what was that atmosphere like??????? :D ;D

Cruiseon

Bulls I can be honest about the atmosphere if you like.

I lived in the UK for 8 years and loved the footy over there. I'm a big Arsenal fan & amongst the many football adventures I did attend Old Trafford, Stanford Bridge, San Siro & Bernabeau as well of course as Highbury & Emirates stadium.

AFL game atmosphere rarely comes close to these places especially in Grand Finals (I've been to many) however games like Anzac Day & Prelim Finals sometimes get closish. I guess less neutral supporters. The replayed GF had much better atmosphere than the first despite a lessor crowd and the Coll....ing...wood chant really gave it a new flavour. It started to feel genuinely European in an iconic way. Sounded fantastic.

I think there will be many teams that get to hate that chant. Go Pies!

roo boys!

I was sick of it by Half-time :P

I know to outsiders it feels like 3 weeks since the Grand Final but it is not even 4 full days.

Just thought I'd say it is lovely being Premiers, what a nice way to spend the summer.  ;)

roo boys!

Yeah it has really been a long few days, can't imagine the whole summer :o
