Matt Priddis

High: 160 (Round 8 )
Low: 54 (Round 13)

Starting Price: $552,400
High Price: $581,200 (round 12)
Lowest Price: $491,400 (round 17)

Summary:

One of the more 'under-the-radar' type players, Priddis is one of those rare unique premiums. Had another solid season in 2010, and peaked between rounds 8 and 12 where he scored 5 centuries at the stunning average of 131.4. Should some inconsistency towards the end of his season with three scores of 54, 64 and 68 in a 5 round period. His season ended with an ankle strain.

Some argue he is not the damaging match-winner type of player, and there is merit to this argument. Priddis averaged 101.3 against top 8 sides (a very good effort), but a huge 117.1 against bottom 8 sides.

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $577,800

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $550,100

Position: MID

* Note, have now included prices from m0nty's fan planner. I'm not sure where his number came from but I don't doubt his wisdom! The problem with using m0nty's number is you can't compare players prices in 2010 with 2011 as the scale has changed. So both are included.

Priddis will continue to score centuries, I don't doubt this. He is the engine-room of the Eagles midfield.

Decision:

Unlikely. A chance he could be an upgrade target, and would be a good unique for any side, but he comes at a hefty price.

DazBurg

agree with your Decision ossie
unlikely could be an upgrade target but i still probably won't

Fletch74

I'd have to agree. Too expensive, but he falls a bit in price, he would be a great unique for an upgrade

benjy251090

i doubt i will start with him, maybe later on in the season

Bosh

I rate the bloke but maybe too expensive, will be keeping him in mind.

Barlow 21

Averaged 118 at the half way mark of the year.

Justin Bieber

One of my favourite uniques. Not in my starting team plans. Likely an upgrade option if I look his way 8).

MajorLazer

He's too expensive to start with but could be an upgrade target

Maca24
