Sellar has a lot of potential, but unfortunately hasnt shown it yet. The move could be good for him.

Sam Jacobs will play a role and fit into the Adelaide game plan. Kid has good ruckman potential but unable to fit obviously into the Blues 22.

Will be good to see him getting a game over with the Crows and will slot nicely onto my bench with Sam Day for fantasy teams.

Yep, they really know how to recruit down at Carlton. They miss out on Brenden Goodard and then they wonder why they don't have any success.

Whilst they are at it, perhaps they should attempt to get Warren Treadra or perhaps Brett Kirk.

hard work gets you guaranteed in any starting 22! and i really though towards the end of the season he'd nearly made that guaranteed squad! he'd played a heap of time in the middle and was looking great and only injury forced him out of the elimination final! anyway i love what ratts said about Jacobs! Ungrateful wranger!

apparently grigg wants to get to richmond in a possible deal for thursfield, another potential deal that doesnt excite me :-\

i like griggs ball winning ability but his disposal isnt great like a few others we need to straighten up or ship out.

Jacobs is a big loss, he's so far in front of Hampson it's ridiculous. Sellar did indeed show potential at the time the Crows picked him up, but he's looked ordinary whenever he's been in the side, which has been rarely, and quickly dropped again. Better to gamble on him though than get nothing at all. As for Walker and Grigg, they're a pair of butchers anyway, their kicking is horrendous. Better to grab a few draft picks and go for blokes with decent ball skills and let them both bugger off to where they want to go.

yea jacobs has been stiff. way better than hampson and would be getting 22 games elsewhere. and i agree with grigg has always been a bit of a frontrunner IMO
