Summary:

I'm going to say this so as to be careful not to overstate it - Trent Dennis-Lane is the best Supercoach player ever. In existence. In the whole damn universe.

TDL, through the mists of uncertainty, came in as an emergency in the preliminary final, and scored a whopping 130 OUT OF NOWHERE to help me win my preliminary final. This lead me with an interesting selection conundrum for the grand final, and my faith in keeping TDL paid off with a 98 in round 22. Ossie's Antelope Premiership Player, and I owe a lot to him!

The Crystal Ball:

Based on last year's magic number
Price: $368,200 (no discount), $331,400 (10% discount), $294,600 (20% discount)

Based on m0nty's fanplanner
Price: $280,500

Position: FWD

* Note, have now included prices from m0nty's fan planner. I'm not sure where his number came from but I don't doubt his wisdom! The problem with using m0nty's number is you can't compare players prices in 2010 with 2011 as the scale has changed. So both are included.

TDL should hopefully get a 20% discount, but think it is more likely for a 10%.

In serousness though, TDL will be a 2nd year player, and is still a fringe player at Sydney. I'm uncertain if he will play every game.

Decision:

He is just too expensive I think :( Wish is a shame, because I want him back on the side.

Unlikely for me.

He is expensive, but if he has a good pre-season, he could be used as a short term Cash Cow.

Could be. Not too pricey but not too cheap either. Could suffer from the second year blues so. So gets a very unlikely from me at this stage.

For those looking for a spread of players next year he doesn't stack up against a relatively cheap Goodes - or even O'Keefe
