I'm happy to be a hypocrite in this case BP.

I just think the board have acted in their own interests to win back the fans. I'll be happy if they appoint Bomber to oversee Hird because he has experience, unlike Hird.

because all year bomber has come out in the media about the ablett saga talking bout loyalty and such and now it seems his gonna leave the cats to come to the bombers

Oh ok... :-[ Well I sought of was anyway, jumping back on board if Bomber comes along, even after stating that I would be totally against the Hird appointment.

But, fair call about Bomber.

I had mixed emotions when Hird was appointed. We need a clubman who can teach those young souls what Essendon is all about, the culture, but the downside is he can't coach. :P
Well, he might be able to, but we don't know yet, that is my problem, he has no experience.
But no mixed emotions here, this would just be amazing, Bomber is a champion, awesome player, awesome coach, and his nickname is not a coincidence.

Bomber is simply being loyal to Essendon, not Geelong. True he is not exactly being nice to Geelong but remember he doesn't have the same ties to the Cats that Ablett has.
