Darren Bent off to a flyer, scoring a well deserved 13. Malouda a disappointing 2, meaning 4 points as Captain. Alex and Skrtel only scoring 1 point, fellow defender Givet also not doing well, only scoring 2. Luckily Howard racked up 6 points getting a clean sheet.

O'Shea, Scholes , Nolan and Jones still to play.

Nolan did well for me, scoring from a penalty, racking up 7 points for the Champions. Kenwyne Jones also scoring, off a header, giving me a nice 6.
Scholes and O'Shea only scoring 1 point each.

Q's Champions progress to the Next Round of the Pre-Season cup, defeating Hawka FC - 48 - 34

Very Hard Captain Choice this week, I'm tossing up between Scholes and Darren Bent. Don't think Malouda will have much impact against Arsenal. Q's Champions line up for Week 2 of the Pre-Season will be announced tommorow. Team is almost set.

Captain Thoughts would be much appreciated  :)

Haha I was too lazy to do that :P

Definitely wouldn't go Darren Bent since he is playing against Man Utd.

I think your best bet would be Arteta for captain

Master Q

He was my 3rd Choice. What about Scholes though?

CrowsFan

I'm always a bit iffy picking players like Scholes or Giggs because since they are so old now Sir Alex will give them rests now and then and you never know when that will be. With Anderson back from injury it could mean Scholes gets less playing time. He could pay off as captain but I would go the safer option of Arteta

CrowsFan

Just discovered Scholes is injured and wont play this week Q. That should make your choice easier

Master Q

Yes it will, Williamson or Odemwingie will come on for him as Walcott is out, will release my team tomorrow.

Pre-Season Semi-Finals Team News:

2 Top-Class Midfielders are out for Q's Champions. Scholes likely not to play and Walcott is still injured, Howard keeps his spot as Keeper, and Odemwingie makes his debut for the Champions. Arteta will take the Armband from Malouda, as Chelsea are playing a dangerous Arsenal. Q's Champions are looking vunrebale, have 2 players injured on the bench, and one of them isn't a keeper, meaning I only have 1 player to cover incase one of my starting 11 doesn't play.

GK: Howard

DEF: Alex, O'Shea , Skrtel, Givet

MID: Malouda, Arteta (C) , Nolan

FWD: Bent (VC) , Odemwingie , Jones

Bench: Robinson, Williamson, Scholes, Walcott

Arteta scoring a Nice 6 as Captain, posting 12 for the Champions. Bent not scoring, getting 2, Odemwingie starting for the first time scored 5, getting 3 points for an Assist. Jones not scoring either made him only get 2, while Everton got a Clean-Sheet giving almighty Howard 6 Points. O'Shea standing strong in defense, racking up 6 points. Givet scored 1 for the Champions, Manager Master Q notes that he isn't likely to start next week if the Champions progress.

Nolan, Skrtel, Alex and Malouda yet to play.

We'll have a score update soon.

Q why did you name your team a week in advance? Now you can't change your team if you get an injury
