Rucks could be boosted but if Bailey can rise, don't think they need to recruit. Renouf is solid as a tap ruckman. Doesn't do much else though.

Key Backman would be good. Same with Speed. As mentioned before Hooper and Rioli have the pace to burn but not the tank to last in the midfield. Reckon could take a risk on a young speedster from the draft to fill this void.

Key backman got to be recruited from another club though. Could be a hard ask if Tarrant doesn't come to you guys.

Thornton, Uqgy and Hill will help the team. 2 decent half backers to help out in defence. Hill an X Factor and can open up Cyril for more of a run in the midfield. Hale has already come but think he could probably be used up forward more than ruck.

Hawks have said they have no interest in Thornton.

Hale will play 30 ruck / 70 Forward. It allows the Hawks to maintain 3 runners off the bench for most of the game.

Urqhuart would be nice.

We need someone like him to fill the spot left by Brown. No reason Urqhuart can't be in the same team as Birchall. That being said, I think JKT could fill that spot too. Had a good year at Box Hill.

As you said would much prefer Hill and also a pacey outside midfielder.
