Backs: Goddard, Hodge, Deledio, Hargrave, Otten, Adcock, N.Krakouer (X.Clarke, Hunt, Talia)
Mids: Swan, Boyd, Bartel, Anthony,D.Swallow, Bennel (A. Krakouer, Hallana, Conca)
Rucks: Cox, Petrie (Smith, Charman)
Fwds: Franklin, Riewoldt, Pavlich, Brown, Pettered, Knights, Darling (Matera,, Tapscott, Wanganeen)

obviously very early and alot will depend on which teams the rookies go to and when the byes are on. Im very happy with the mid and rucks both on field and bench and i like my startng forward line. However the backline looks a bit weak

Backs: Goddard, Hodge, Kelly, Fisher, Hargrave, Otten, Adcock(X.Clarke, Hunt, Talia)
Mids: Swan, Boyd,  Anthony,D.Swallow, R. Petered , Bennel (A. Krakouer, Hallahan, Libarotore)
Rucks: Cox, Petrie (Smith, Charman)
Fwds: Franklin, Riewoldt, Pavlich, Brown, Waite, Knights, Darling (Matera,, Tapscott, Wanganeen)

this is an alternate team using the 3 cheap/rookie mids, i normally dont like this setup but it makes the forwards and backs really strong and it enables the MPP of Waite (fwd line) and talia (backline and also switching pettered with pav

Probablt team 2 as well.

Hargrave risky. Harbrow leaving could help him but don't expect him to have a stunning year. Age against him also. Breakout year so late in the career might be a one off.

Is Hallana, Mitch Hallahan?

mucking around with a 3rd team forward line is very strong especialy with darling on the bench, i made this team thinking about the byes with a bench player i would be happy to start.  Krakouer, Darling and Petrie in the ruck will be great cover

Giving up MPP though :(. But team 3 looks fairly strong around the grounds. Especially in the rucks and up forward.

Could see if you could put Clarke in the midfield to allow for you to at least have a B/C MPP there as well.

Holz

im really hoping to find a good fwd/mid to replace matera with as i have quite a few fdd/mid centres in the forward line.
someone like mitch duncan
IM actually thinking of loading up on the top draftees who dont go to goldcoast im hoping someone like hallahan or libatore will end up someone where else as it could be a problem if the went to GC with both Swallow and Bennel in GC. The only good thing is that GC are the first bye so if you have cover for that round you only have 1 bye left and hopefully that will be after round 10 when i have time to upgrade these type of players

dylan mcneil from sydney maybe  ??? was on the cusp of selection this year

Yea I'm looking at him too... Had a great year in the reserves.

Maybe move Petterd to the middle? Should see gametime and is fairly cheap. McNeil is on my radar if he cracks into the first team in the pre season.
